Download · desktop, server, Docker

Put Aulay on any machine.

Your laptop, a $5 VPS, or a container on a box you already run. Each one joins your Aulay fleet, and the agents on it keep working after you close the lid.

Aulay Desktop · macOS, Windows, Linux

Download the desktop app.

Aulay Desktop is the normal way in. It installs the Aulay runtime (a small background service) on this computer, signs you in with your browser, and keeps both up to date. A tray icon shows runtime health and permission prompts.

Pick your platform
macOS
12 or later · .dmg

Or from Terminal: curl -fsSL https://market.aulay.io/install.sh | sh installs to /Applications and opens the app.

Windows
10 / 11 · x64 installer

Run the installer. Aulay Desktop starts and installs the runtime for you.

Linux
x86_64 · three ways
  1. Debian / Ubuntu (.deb)

For Debian, Ubuntu, Mint, Pop!_OS and other apt-based distros. Double-click the package to install it, or run sudo apt install ./Aulay-Desktop-*.deb.

  2. Any distro (AppImage)

An AppImage is a single file, but a downloaded file is not executable, so it must be marked executable before it runs. In a terminal: chmod +x ~/Downloads/Aulay-Desktop-*.AppImage and then run it. Or in your file manager: right-click the file, open Properties, and under Permissions tick “Allow executing file as program” (GNOME) or “Is executable” (KDE), then double-click it. On first run it moves itself to ~/.local/share/Aulay and adds an app-menu entry, so you can delete the download.

Needs FUSE: sudo apt install libfuse2 on Ubuntu 22.04 and later.

  3. From a terminal
    curl -fsSL https://market.aulay.io/install.sh | sh

Detects your distro: installs the .deb where apt is available, otherwise the AppImage. AULAY_DESKTOP_FORMAT=appimage forces the AppImage.

Every download is the latest published build. The app updates itself afterwards.

Runtime only · headless machines and servers

Headless machines and servers.

No desktop, or don’t want the app? One command installs just the background runtime as a per-user service that pairs this machine with ai.aulay.io and keeps itself up to date. Sign-in prints a browser link. The same command turns a VPS into a fleet machine.

Run in a terminal on the machine you want in your fleet
macOS / Linux
Terminal
curl -fsSL https://market.aulay.io/runtime.sh | sh
Windows
PowerShell
irm https://market.aulay.io/runtime.ps1 | iex

Installs under ~/.aulay and registers a per-user service that starts on boot. Re-run with login, status, update, or remove (for example curl -fsSL https://market.aulay.io/runtime.sh | sh -s -- status). Already running the desktop app? It manages the runtime for you.
